The Data Controller considers the confidentiality, protection and security of information, particularly the personal data regarding its clients and parties that come into contact with Green Stag, to be of the utmost importance.
Although Data Controller processes the personal data of third parties as part of its business, it has always taken all of the necessary measures in order to ensure confidentiality and security of the data, in line with the latest technological developments in the information technology field.
As Data Controller, the Administrative Department has been assigned the task of answering interested parties in the event in which they exercise their rights in accordance with Art. 7 of the Privacy Code, acting as an interface for privacy issues. The individuals who process the personal data have been appointed as Persons in charge of the processing. They have been given specific instructions and they participate in ongoing training and refresher courses. For specific technical or organizational requirements, the company uses third parties to whom it assigns part of the process.
These parties may take on the role of “Persons in charge of the processing” or “Supervisors” of the company’s processing, or they may operate autonomously as distinctive “Persons in charge of processing” for subsequent processing with the same objectives pursued by Data Controller.

Regulated firms agree to observe and comply with RICS Rules of Conduct for Firms, including working to RICS standards. This means Green Stag has the following requisites:

Individual RICS professionals are required to carry out the Continuing Professional Development (CPD) throughout the course of their membership
1. Professional behavior – Firm shall at all times act with integrity and avoid conflicts of interest and avoid any actions or situations that are inconsistent with its professional obligations.
2. Competence – Firm shall carry out its professional work with due skill, care and diligence and with proper regard for the technical standards expected of it.
3. Service – Firm shall carry out its professional work with expedition and with proper regard for standards of service and customer care expected of it.
4. Training and Continuing Professional Development – Firm shall have in place the necessary procedures to ensure that all its staff are properly trained and competent to do their work.
5. Complaints handling – Firm shall operate a Complaints Handling Procedure and maintain a Complaints Log.
6. Clients’ money – Firm shall preserve the security of clients’ money entrusted to its care in the course of its practice or business.
7. Professional indemnity insurance – Firm shall ensure that all previous and current professional work is covered by adequate and appropriate professional indemnity insurance.
1. Advertising – Firm shall promote its professional services only in a truthful and responsible manner.
2. Solvency – Firm shall ensure that its finances are managed appropriately.
3. Arrangements to cover the incapacity or death of a sole practitioner – Firm which has a sole principal (i.e. a sole practitioner or a sole director in a corporate practice) shall have in place appropriate arrangements in the event of that sole principal’s death or incapacity or other extended absences.
4. Use of designations – Firm must display on its business literature a designation to denote that it is regulated by this Ethical Code.
